An arctic blast has blown across the UK in the last few days, bringing with it the heaviest snow falls in about 20 years. This has been very exciting, it's great fun to play in the snow, and I feel very lucky to be here to see it. The snow is gradually melting and the ice turning to sludge, however it's still very cold.

The Royal Air Force Museum is located in Hendon, North London and is a must see attraction for anyone interested in aviation or military history. Entry is free and there's so much to see you you couldn't possibly see everything in one day. My favourite exhibits were the mighty Lancaster and Vulcan bombers, as a display of photographs by serving RAF personnel.

On Boxing Day I drove to Canterbury which is a beautiful city in Kent, it is a picture perfect English town and home to a stunning cathedral. I also visited Whitstable which is a quaint seaside town not far from Canterbury.
