Finally, some pics from the KGB museum in Vilnius. The museum is in the actual KGB headquarters and was still operational up until the break up of the USSR. The cells in the basement are all original and have been left as they were...it is quite eerie when you consider the torture and barbaric acts which were committed down there. As well as cells and solitary confinement cupboards there are torture chambers and the execution room, which still bullets in the walls from the firing squads. One person fainted when we were there, and it's not hard to see why, it's very claustrophobic and unsettling.
